Law Enforcement Elder Abuse Response Policy Model Policy Development Meeting

Law enforcement, prosecutors, adult protection workers, long-term care ombudsman, aging services and domestic violence/sexual assault programs are all invited to attend and provide input into the development of the model policy. Subsequent to the information gathering / listening sessions, selected professionals from across the state will convene in St Paul to develop a draft of the model policy. The draft will be distributed to Minnesota law enforcement for final review and input.

Law Enforcement Elder Abuse Response Policy
Model Policy Development Meeting

 

 

 

TheMinnesota Elder Justice Centerinvites criminal justice and community partners across Minnesota to meet and provide input into the development of a model law enforcement elder abuse response policy. Four information gathering / listening sessions will be scheduled throughout Minnesota in early 2018.

Session One:

January 31, 2018
11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

(The other three session dates and locations are TBD.)

Law enforcement, prosecutors, adult protection workers, long-term care ombudsman, aging services and domestic violence/sexual assault programs are all invited to attend and provide input into the development of the model policy.

Subsequent to the information gathering / listening sessions, selected professionals from across the state will convene in St Paul to develop a draft of the model policy. The draft will be distributed to Minnesota law enforcement for final review and input. The finalized model policy will be presented and available for adaptation in the fall of 2018
