Annual training offered in conjunction with the Minnesota Attorney General's Office for Prosecutors and Law Enforcement on new laws, decisions and issues in impaired driving. All attendees will receive the DWI/IMPLIED CONSENT ELEMENTS handbook written by the Public Safety Division of the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office. REGISTRATION FEE - $100
Registration is open to Prosecutors and Law Enforcement. Fee Includes: All training sessions, DWI/IMPLIED CONSENT ELEMENTS HANDBOOK, handouts, and meals for the registrant.

DWI/IMPLIED CONSENT ELEMENTS HANDBOOK
The manual is written by the Public Safety Division of the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office. It will serve as a valuable reference for your DWI/IC practice. Refer to sections on:

  • Initial contact, probable cause and reconditions to a test request
  • Testing and refusal issues
  • Right to counsel and additional testing issues
  • Tips from judges and prosecutors on how to proceed with your case

  • CANCELLATION
    Paid registrations will be refunded in full if cancellation is received at least 72 hours before the program; if less than 72 hours, a $45 administration fee will be deducted. Paid registrants who fail to attend will  receive the written materials.

    ACCOMMODATIONS
    Participants are responsible for obtaining and paying for their own lodging. Below are hotels located in close proximity to the meeting space. Government rates are offered at all hotels based on availability.

    CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION

    Application will be made for 5.25 hours of Standard CLE credits, 1.00 hour of Ethics CLE credit and 5.00 hours of POST credit.
