Helping Prosecutors Across Texas: How You Can Help

With all the damage that has been done from Hurricane Harvey in Texas, numerous organizations are reaching out to all Americans to see how they can help.

According to our Texas NAPC representative, nearly 50 counties have sustained serious hurricane and flood damage. According to Rob Kepple, his office has not made contact with 3 other offices along the coast, but reports are that everyone is safe, but just waiting for the flood waters to recede before beginning the cleanup.

A Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief Fund has been set up through the Texas Foundation 501 (c)(3). One hundred percent of the donations to the fund will be distributed to prosecutor office staff members who have suffered uninsured losses and need help rebuilding (it appears that an overwhelming number of damaged homes did NOT have flood insurance because no one insures for this kind of flood!)

If you're interested in contributing, please click here. If you have never done anything with TDCAA before, it will ask you to "register" as a new user, and then you will be able to click on the Hurricane Relief tab and make a donation to that fund.
