Registration

Geared toward elected or appointed chief prosecutors and upper level staff, the Executive Program is designed for prosecution leadership. This program is essential for those who handle agency funding, media coordination, public relations, issues with the courts, office management, and any other matters related to a prosecutor’s or government attorney’s office. Topics range from avoiding employment pitfalls to managing the office during a crisis.

Tentative Topics Include:

  • Effective Leadership and Management
  • Media Strategies
  • Task Force Development
  • The Politics of Prosecution
  • Hiring, Retaining, and Promoting Quality Employees
  • Effective Office Communication and Training
  • Effective Budgeting Strategies
  • Avoiding Employment Law Pitfalls

Course Information

CLE: Anticipated CLE credits will be 19 hours, including at least 1 hour of ethics. Advance registration for CLE will be applied for in Virginia, Tennessee, and Ohio.  All other states will require the attorney to self-submit using their uniform certificate provided at the conclusion of the course. Eligibility: Open to lawyers in local, state, federal and military government attorneys’ offices. Recommended attendees are elected or appointed chief prosecutors, first assistants, chief deputies, and other executive-level personnel.

NDAA adheres to a policy of non-discrimination in admissions and administration.

Special Discounts

  • The first attendee from an office pays full tuition; each additional attendee from the same office will receive a $50 discount when registered at the same time.
  • All active military members will receive a 10% discount on the course registration. Military members are not eligible for the $50 team discount.

Registration fees are non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel your registration, the fees paid may be credited toward any other NDAA training within twelve months from the date of the original cancellation.
