This CLE will look at the history of the supreme court's membership, and the legislation and constitutional amendments that increased and decreased the number of justices on the court. The discussion will also touch on the court's use of retired and acting justices to supplement the membership or provide the necessary minimum number of justices on a case.   

CLE Credit: One standard CLE credit will be applied for.
