Sarah Novak and Patrick Busch, attorneys with the Legal Counsel Division of the Minnesota State Court Administrator's Office, will cover current issues regarding electronic filing in Minnesota's State Courts. Topics to be covered include public accessibility of court records and the limited exceptions to public access, pending rules proposals related to public access, the future of remote public access to court filings, & issues related to the unnecessary use of paper in document preparation.

Sarah Novak and Patrick Busch, attorneys with the Legal Counsel Division of the Minnesota State Court Administrator's Office, will cover current issues regarding electronic filing in Minnesota's State Courts. Topics to be covered include public accessibility of court records and  the limited exceptions to public access, pending rules proposals related to public access, the future of remote public access to court filings, issues related to the unnecessary use of paper in document preparation, and the differences in practices between the trial court and appellate court electronic filing systems. This Office will apply for 1.0 standard CLE credit for this program.
